Introducing the European Locksmith Federation (ELF)
The European Locksmith Federation is a collaboration of European professional associations in the security technology industry. In total, 18 professional associations from 18 different European countries come together as an international umbrella organization with the aim of representing the collective interests of individual security companies and working together to find solutions. The ELF was founded in 1984 and will celebrate its 40th anniversary at the Convention 2024 in Düsseldorf.
The interkey e. V.
In 2024, the interkey e.V., headquartered in Germany, will be the host and organizer of the ELF Convention in Düsseldorf.
Comprising national and international member companies, the interkey e.V. boasts over 200 member companies. The exchange of knowledge and mutual support are among the key benefits of membership in the association. Through regular meetings such as the interkey Annual Conference, the community grows closely together. Over time, this has created a functioning industry network, which, through its contact with the international professional associations of the ELF, has acquired a global dimension. Founded in 1964, the interkey e.V. will also celebrate its jubilee in Düsseldorf in 2024!

As the interkey e.V., we are proud to host this internationally renowned event, which was last held on German soil in Berlin in 2004. With the city of Düsseldorf as our chosen location, we have found an ideal venue for the ELF Convention. In addition to its excellent connection to the international airport, the proximity to the key region of Velbert offers a multitude of opportunities for exciting networking and excursion destinations.
